Because Sometimes God Has Other Plans (Vlog)

Today we are changing things up a bit… And I am trying my hand at another vlog (aka video blog.)

Sometimes things don’t go our way… but take heart. It could be an incredible blessing in disguise!

(If you can’t view this video in your email, click here.)

When have your plans and God’s plans not quite matched up? How did you react? I would love to hear all about it– you know the drill… Leave a comment below.

Today let’s rejoice that yes, sometimes God DOES have other plans.

Praying that His Plans Prevail,

SGK

“I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for.” ~Jeremiah 29:11 (MSG)

  1. I’m thankful for “God’s other plans” and your vlog. Have a great day!

Woot! I love what God has done in your life. His Will is for our good, and His call on you is evident!! Glad He allowed our paths to cross:)

    • Me too, Tracy girl. So blessed to have you in my life 🙂 Glad YOU were part of God’s plan for my life!!

  3. God most def has other plans for us and He will make these plans ours. He wouldn’t do these things “to” us if He didn’t have a plan and if that plan wasn’t so important He wouldn’t go to extremes. I know, He gave us Carly.

    • Touche, dear friend… I love the way you put that! And yes, He gave us Carly– even if she wasn’t in OUR plans, God knew you were ready for her 😉

  4. Deanna

Great job with your vlog! I’m thankful for God’s other plans in my life as well. Sometimes it was hard to accept, but in the end, it was way better than anything I could have hoped for.

    • Thank you, Deanna! God’s plans are sometimes pretty hard to swallow in the moment, but looking back a short time later– it’s great when it all falls together and makes sense!

But the Lord! Love your testimony … love you!! 🙂

    • Amen, Kelly! The phrase “But the Lord…” has been in my head since SheSpeaks… Thanks for putting that on my heart.

PS: I am praying for your and your family. Love you too!

I’m so thankful God’s plans included our paths crossing. His plans are always better! Great vlog!

  7. “I’m working for Jesus dollars until further notice.” I love this! And I am thankful that sometimes God has other plans.

    Blessings,
    Joan

    • Funny, that’s my husband’s favorite part of my testimony too… “Jesus dollars.” Force me to keep things in perspective when folks question my path… Blessings to you Joan!
